Rodney Malpert is a lawyer, former adjunct professor, and chess Senior Master with a J.D. and M.A. from Cornell University. For accurate coverage
- The AI-risk assessment is conditional on specified superintelligence and rapid-transition assumptions.
- The takeoff chronology is a scenario, not a prediction of a breakthrough on a particular date.
- The papers’ subjective probabilities should be attributed to the analysis, not presented as scientific consensus.
- Human–AI collaboration is disclosed in the manuscripts. Interviewees and cited scholars are not implied endorsers.
